January 12, 2015- February 9, 2015 CHES is proud to partner with the American Heart Association through Jump Rope For Heart! This community service project teaches our students the importance of heart health (exercise, nutrition and living tobacco free) while having a great time jumping rope. Students also have the opportunity to raise donations for the American Heart Association to fund research and educational materials to lower the risks of America’s #1 and #4 killers: heart disease and stroke.
- GET YOUR DUCKS IN A ROW! Students who raise life-saving funds for the American Heart Association will earn life-saving ducks. Collect all 6! See collection envelope for details.
- INCENTIVE TICKETS: Students who raise $10 receive ONE 18 and under Castle Park Ticket (max of 4 tickets). Students who raise $35+ ONLINE receive TWO one-hour JUMPING passes to Sky High Sports!
- DEADLINE: Donations need to be turned in by February 9, 2015.
Our CHES 1st Grade Classes are holding a “Sweetie Gram Fundraiser” to raise money for their first grade field trips. What is a Sweetie Gram? They are a lei style necklace made from cellophane and various small candies.
Sweetie Grams will be available for sale in the quad area in the morning before school and after school on Tuesday, February 10th – Thursday, February 12th and only in the morning before school on February 13th.
The cost is $1.00 each. Sweetie Grams can be purchased by anyone! This includes students, parents, grandparents, CHES staff members and all other CHES family members.
If you would like to help they are asking for donations of individually wrapped candies (preferably candy not containing peanuts), or help assembling the Sweetie Gram necklaces. They will also need help selling the necklaces. If you are interested in helping, please come by the CHES front office and pick up a Sweetie Gram form.
